Bad Ischl Town Center

Bad Ischl has already been awarded for its exceptional quality of life, will be the European Capital of Culture in 2024, houses the imperial villa in which Empress Elisabeth (Sissi) once resided and is considered the gateway to the Alpine lakes and mountains in the Salzkammergut. That's not all, but this list alone shows that a visit to Bad Ischl is worthwhile. There is so much to discover here that it will definitely not be boring. Beautiful town on the Traun River with an imperial villa and park, a beautiful spa gardens and a small pedestrian zone.
