The Elephant Rock is located near the town of Castelsardo. This rock formation in trachyte has indeed the shape of an elephant. A small cave has been created at the base of this rock and it can be assumed that it was to serve as a tomb some 2000 years ago. Stylized engravings of stars are easily seen in the cavity.
