The Biggesee is a large reservoir on the edge of the southern Sauerland. Among other things, it serves the water supply of the Ruhr area. The lake is quite a tourist magnet, after all, it is also beautiful here. However, you should expect that it is here and there in fine weather a bit fuller, especially in terms of the gastronomy on the edge of the lake. Around the Biggesee leads a bike path, so that you can largely circle it off the road.
