Tips
The path begins immediately outside the town of Palate, leaving the road coming from Piangaiano (q. 533 m). After a few tens of meters it turns sharply to the right, starting to climb steeply through a dense forest.
After a few hairpin bends, the wood ends to leave space for the natural grasslands of Monte Grione. The route now winds along the coast, allowing a view of the splendid panorama of the surrounding mountains and reaches the Croce del Grione (altitude 1200 m).translated by
