It is a valid alternative to via dell'Eremo to reach the upper part of via di Gaibola and gain altitude and then move towards the gullies and descend to the Idice valley or descend along via di Gaibola itself and reach via Montebello and then the Pizzocalvo church ... halfway, if you want to return to the Zena valley in Farneto there is always the DH descent on the Fantini house ...
