It rises not far from the town and is the most famous and popular Marian shrine of the Diocese of Rimini. It owes its origin to a lay hermit, certainly Ondidei di Bonora, who with a will drawn up in 1409 left his possessions and the cell in which he had painted the image of the Madonna del latte to the Franciscan tertiaries. Around this image, which turned out to be miraculous, the sanctuary grew, which was then completely renovated in the early decades of the twentieth century. The Marian image still retains an archaic fourteenth-century flavor and dominates the modest church from the high altar. Numerous votive offerings in the sacristy testify to the cult and graces received by the faithful.
