Covaleda is located between the foothills of the Sierra de Urbión, to the north, and those of the Sierra de Resomo, to the south. This is the Pinares de Soria area, and as such it is surrounded by numerous forests. A stately town, and with a large timber industry, it has all kinds of services: Bars, restaurants, hotels and shops (and fountains).
