    Hiking

    If you hike along the Arizona Trail, you will find some relicts of the mining history in the area. A water systems was built a century ago with powerful jets of water to blast away hillsides to reach gold deposits. Since water was and is scarce, the Santa Rita Water & Mining company built ditches, pipes and tunnels bring water from springs like Bear Spring here.
