The Feast of the Three Kings
On January 6th, Andalusians celebrate the arrival of the Three Kings. The festival is accompanied by many celebrations and parades, which can vary greatly from place to place. It is a very special day for children because in Spain the Three Wise Men are the recipients of the wish lists.The evening before, the children put their shoes in front of the door and leave provisions in them so that the Three Wise Men and their camels can fortify themselves on the tour from family to family. Then we go to bed early - and finally open the presents early in the morning on January 6th!
