The reinforced concrete arch created by Gerhard Schultze-Seehof in 1956 spans the entire width of the riverside path nine meters high. The almost three meter wide arched ribbon is covered on both sides with small, colored mosaics showing abstract water sports and fish motifs. In the cycle of the seasons, the figurative representations symbolize sport and relaxation that Tegeler See offers. For the mosaic pictures, Schultze-Seehof used ceramic parts that were largely recovered from rubble, such as B. tiles. At the western base of the arch there is an inscription made of mosaic stones (Jürgen Tomisch, Barbara Anna Lutz).
