A red boulder, brought here from the Linth Glacier in the last Ice Age. Today in the middle of the forest and very nice moss.

The Rötelstein is a boulder on the Linth glacier in the forest near the hamlet of "Rothenfluh". The approximately 10 m long and 2 m high boulder got its name because of its reddish color. The stone with the ice masses of the Walensee-Linth-Rheingletscher was probably brought here around 120,000 years ago.

A few meters from the Rötelstein there is a very nice fireplace with a view of Rothenfluh.
