In addition, an alpine hiking trail (white-blue-white) leads in a southwesterly direction over the ridge past Golmly 1913m to Alp Obere Euschels

The Kaisereggpass lies at an altitude of 2072m. Anyone who wants to climb from the Salzmatt to the Kaiseregg is happy when they reach this point. Because here the steep ascent and the stairs have been overcome. The rest of the way up to the summit is not so steep anymore and takes about 30 minutes.
