Until the opening of the military loading station in Vacation, the station was of great importance for the military. For a long time, trucks drove from there from the ammunition store Urlau (today: Center Parc Allgäu) to the train station and mainly transported poison gas to the Muna.
!!!!!!!! The old military installations in Friesenhofen are not built, but overgrown, next to the station building in a small forest !!!!!!!
