    Hiking

The Majolika houses at Barbarossastraße 48-52 are among the most striking Art Nouveau buildings on the Kaßberg and were built in 1897 by Reinhold Siebert. The architecturally outstanding ensemble is unique in Chemnitz and impresses with its common, symmetrical facade with artistic majolica reliefs and is of great architectural, urban and artistic importance.

For me, this house is the most imposing I've seen in Chemnitz so far.

    Hiking

The architect and building contractor Reinhold Siebert built the so-called "Majolica Houses" in 1897/98 as early Art Nouveau buildings almost at the top of the Kaßberg. These town houses are among the most striking buildings and are a masterpiece of urban architecture.
