Alfred Bexell (1831-1900) had words of wisdom and names carved on rocks and flat stones. There is said to be over 700 carvings.
Bexell feared that the Swedish language would eventually be mixed with other languages and thereby be completely wiped out.
It's a surreal, magical place, deep in the Toppbjärs Nature Reserve.
