Hiking

At an altitude of 1,650 meters, you'll find the Panorama Alm, which is open all year round. In summer as well as winter, you can reach the Panorama Alm from Saalbach or the Kohlmaiskopf on foot, on skis, or with the Kohlmaisbahn. With the most beautiful view over the Glemmtal towards the end of the valley in the Hohe Tauern, you can indulge yourself here on the inviting sun terrace. Regional and international delicacies await you, as well as a generous selection of exquisite wines and local brandies.

The Panorama Alm consists of several buildings. Among them is an old stable, lovingly restored as a museum with free admission. After a hike, you can cool your tired feet in the small lake. Enjoy a cool wheat beer in the restaurant. This makes every break entertaining and stress-free, as there are also play equipment for children and goats to pet.
