The originally Gothic building was expanded in 1893, creating a long rectangular church with a slightly drawn-in choir closed off in a basket-arched curve. The church with a chapel and tower in the south choir corner houses a high altar from around 1700 with an altarpiece of St. Thomas of Canterbury from 1837.(Wikipedia)
