The Wyrley & Essington Canal provides a fantastic, peaceful, lock free, hill free, route between Wolverhampton & Walsall. From Walsall you can continue to follow the Curly Wyrley up to its terminus at Chasewater reza or pick up the McClean Way to Brownhills. Following the Rushall Canal & Tame Valley canal south leads you into Birmingham.

Towpath varies from paved and gravel, throught to grassy and muddy in places.
