Hiking
In the Lüneburg Heath there are several thousand heather sheep that make an important contribution to preserving the heather landscape as we love it.
Every day, the shepherds and their herds roam the heather of the Lüneburg Heath. You will cover about 10 km, on a different route every day across the heathland, away from hiking trails and meeting points.

Hiking
The Heidschnucken take care of the heath. They bite off the sprouts and herbs and thus prevent the Lüneburg Heath from overgrowing or suffocate the heather plants. They also crush the cobwebs and ensure that the bees can safely collect the delicious heather honey.
