The neo-Gothic chapel from 1862 was lovingly restored and redesigned from 2002 to 2006 and placed under monument protection. The organ (from the Eisenbarth-Passau company), the belfry and the bell (from the Perner-Passau company) were completely renovated. The new construction of the sacristy and the renewal of the staircase could also be implemented. The "Kneidinger Dorfkirche" was inaugurated on May 1, 2006 with a big celebration.
Inside there is a veritable panopticon of sacred figures, plaques and testimonies of popular piety. The chapel is particularly popular for Holy Masses, weddings and baptisms.
