This cable-drawn ferry is part of a great route from Madison to Devil's Lake State Park, and it's the only bike crossing of the Wisconsin River between Sauk City and Wisconsin Dells. The ferry is free and runs all day (currently only between 7am and 8pm because of the Covid situation). The ferry closes in winter when the river is frozen.
