The Sosnówek Lock is the twelfth lock on the Augustów Canal, counting from the Biebrza River. It connects the artificial part of the canal with the section running along the Czarna Hańcza bed. Built in 1828 by Lieutenant Eng. Konstanty Jodka. You can get to the lock just behind the village of Mikaszówka, turn left in the direction of Rudawka onto a marked forest road, or the road from Mikaszówka to the village of Rygol. Location: 71 km; level difference approximately 3 m; length 44.40m; width 6.10m; wooden gates. Currently, in 2011, a general renovation is being carried out.
