The 84 kilometer long hiking trail was named after Nils Dacke († 1543), a Swedish peasant and resistance leader from the southern Swedish province of Småland. The trail starts in Mosjön, leads along beautiful wooded paths and through the village of Nybro and ends in Högsby. Parts of it might not be bikeable, so you have to push your bike – depending on your technical skills.
