St. Paul, also called Paulskirche on Theresienwiese, is the first parish church in Ludwigsvorstadt in Munich. It was built between 1892 and 1906 according to plans by Georg von Hauberrisser in the neo-Gothic style. With the 97-meter-high east tower, St. Paul is not only one of the tallest, but also one of the most powerful church buildings in Munich alongside the Cathedral of Our Lady. A very beautiful and impressive church, both outside and inside.

Church right next to the Oktoberfest. In 1960, an airplane struck the main tower and crashed. 52 people died. To commemorate the plane crash, there is a plaque on the wall at Bayerstraße - corner of Martin Greiffstraße on the footpath to Theresienhöhe. The two towers are of different heights: east tower / main tower 97m and the two west towers 76m. The church is 76m long. The church building consists of Ansbacher shell limestone and tuff stone for the interior.
