The bridge connects the western and eastern parts of least West Park on the Hansastrasse. It is planted on the sides.

At the western end of the bridge is the "spatial arch" created by Johannes Leismüller in 1982. This consists of steel lattice arches that span the path and are partly overgrown with climbing plants. The shape of the grids gives the impression of a third dimension. Further art installations by Leismüller can be found at the Brudermühltunnel (the eye-catching red gate construction) and at the Westpark entrance in Ganghoferstrasse (“Flying Landscapes”).
