This is what I like best on the heights of the Odenwald: This vision, this tranquility, the undisturbed nature.
Here, above Waldamorbach, you have it and if you want to go further north, on the Weinstrasse and to Umstadt or Dorndiel, you have to leave the fresh forest on the left and go straight into the forest, see photo. In this short stretch, you have to expect to have to do gymnastics over fallen trees or simply get off because it's too slippery. But these are exceptions.
