The campground is on the north side of Hwy 108 along the river, the store (currently in a temporary trailer) and gas station (currently closed as of 2020) on the south side. The forest and small hamlet of Dardanelle was destroyed by forest fire last year, a preview of what the rest of the Sierra will look like after this year's fire season ...
