Bike tour: Of all the routes, this is the most impressive. The tour starts in Saas-Balen, via Heimischgarten and Hoferälpji, to the edge of the glacier.
On foot: Take the gondola from Saas-Grund to Kreuzboden, then head towards Grubenalp. Ascent to the three glacial lakes.
