The Sachsenhausen Main bank from the Gerbermühle to the Friedensbrücke and beyond - in the early morning a fantastic route to start the day with a smile.

On the southern bank of the river Main, you can jog, cycle or walk along the Frankfurt skyline, visit exhibitions on the museum's embankment (art, crafts, architecture, film, communication ...), stop by one of the boats with restaurant or bar and visit the Gerbermühle Consuming Goethe's favorite dish (Tafelspitz with "Grie soß"). Or just lie relaxed on the grass in the sun.

The Main is always most beautiful when there are hardly any people.
It's best to drive here early in the morning or when it's cold :).

The Frankfurt Museumsufer is one of the most important museum locations not only in Germany but also in Europe. Thanks to this unique cultural offer on both sides of the Main, the city enjoys an excellent reputation not only among art lovers. On the southern bank alone, ten exhibition halls are lined up like a string of pearls. At the same time, the Museumsufer is a successful synthesis of attractive cultural highlights and contrasting urban planning. During the realization of this museum landscape in the 1980s, historic town houses were gutted and furnished with contemporary interiors, on the other hand numerous new and extension buildings were created based on designs by internationally important architects.

It's nice to enjoy the skyline when the weather is good. Then the banks of the Main are full of people, there are various small opportunities to have a drink or just sit on a bench or on the lawn. Attention! Plenty of geese with plenty of legacies, blanket is recommended.
