Valpolicella (Valpolesèla in Veronese dialect) is the hilly area that precedes the beginning of the Veronese Pre-Alps, in the Veneto Region. It includes the territory of seven municipalities, all belonging to the province of Verona. The valley, which extends for 240 km²,[2] is bordered to the south by the Adige river, and is bordered to the east by the hills of Parona and Quinzano and by Valpantena.
Renowned since ancient Roman times for viticulture, and in particular for Amarone wine, it is also important for the extraction of red Verona marble. From an architectural point of view, the Valpolicella landscape is adorned with Venetian villas of great value and is embellished with capitals, churches, parish churches, districts and courtyards, which enrich the area with evidence of years of history.

A beautiful route, public roads, but hardly any traffic.
