make sure you have a bandana or a buff around your neck, there's about a kilometre of route that gets quite dusty when the weathers hot and dry.

And if you will be riding this route in the rain, be sure to be riding with the right tires and fenders/mud guards as that kilometre can get really muddy.

I rode this route in Panaracer Gravel Kings, and I had to stop and let some air out of my tires, to around 20psi so I could ride it safely in the dry and dusty conditions.
