      The Kemmelberg, once a fiercely contested hilltop.

      Now a stately, beautiful Angel watches over the peace of mind of the many young soldiers who lost their lives here. The Kemmelberg is definitely worth a visit, if only out of respect.

      At the bottom of the foot, at the entrance to the French ossuary, you will find several information boards about this hotly contested site. You can also take many walks on and around the Kemmelberg.
