From historic hunting lodge to a complex consisting of a restaurant where you can enjoy dinners and snacks enhancing local products and two apartments to live a stone's throw from one of the most beautiful beaches of Versilia. This is the idea for the restyling of La Lecciona, a place created in Viale dei Tigli in Viareggio by Pia Orlandi in 1928.

The Villa Borbone was built in 1822, but repeatedly restructured during the 19th century. Originally the building was just a hunting lodge. Later, however, the owners decided to turn it into an elegant villa by combining three different buildings. The first three buildings had three floors and were part of a large park designed by the architect Lorenzo Nottolini for the Duchess Maria Luisa di Borbone. When the three buildings were united, in the 1850s, it was decided to leave a larger three-storey central body with two side-wings only two-storeyed. In addition, various other buildings were built, including a chapel.
