The multi-award winning Locke Bar is picturesquely situated in the heart of Limerick City's medieval quarter, where the Abbey River meets the Shannon. The beautiful riverside location with a hugely popular outdoor seating and entertainment area offers the city of Limerick a unique offering.
A gastro pub serving food 7 days a week, it is particularly well known for its Ocean Fresh Seafood menu and fresh daily specials selection, as well as many other dishes to suit all tastes.
The Locke Bar has a history and a resonance to its premises that is rarely found in Ireland. It occupies the original site of one of Limerick City's oldest pubs, dating back to 1724. It is close to some of the city's most historic landmarks such as St Mary's Cathedral, King John's Castle and the Hunt Museum.

It's Limerick's only traditional Irish music and dance venue with a lively 'Seisiún' every night of the week!
Here at Locke Bar we pride ourselves on having Limerick's largest al fresco beer garden with stunning views of the River Shannon.
Each evening, traditional Irish musicians and dancers set the mood for a session and get the 'craic' going.

There are a lot of pubs in Limerick, but that's really cool.
You can eat well, the portions are large and the service is very good. The Irish musicians play great and create a good atmosphere. The dancer gave short dance interludes and was great.
I was a bit worried that it would be a tourist event, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The locals sit here as well.
It makes sense to reserve a table, but we were accommodated that way.

      SO SIMPLY GREAT - GO!
