It's not just one fallen tree, there are several. You can climb over it, bypass it on the steep slope or crawl under it. Is also a bit weather dependent. We bypass it on the slope, but this requires surefootedness and good footwear otherwise it will be a slide.
I'll leave the old article there !!
In the meantime, the obstacle can be "passed through" without any problems; the foresters did their job well. The obstacle is removed.

One of the most beautiful nature reserves in and around Dusseldorf. I can only recommend to take a day and time to walk through the Rotthäuser Bachtal.

In the meantime the trees have been cut and only one stump is reminiscent of the old pictures.
