Kreuzberg Trail with View of Kronach

The trail begins at its highest point at the old glider hangar with a few blocky sections and then crosses in a flowing traverse with wonderful views of Kronach over to the cross above the "Hellebarde" steep slope. The very brave can also plunge straight from the Halberd Cross into the steep downhill to the Crana Mare car park. The normal continuation, however, is a two-track forest path (quickly a bit muddy in wet weather) that ends at the forest connecting road to the Dörfles lime works. As a rule, however, you drive down to the Dörfles lime works. Highly recommended.

However, the forestry road connecting the Höfles lime works has now been so badly damaged by logging operations that it is currently only worthwhile driving on it in dry weather (as of May 2024).
