The Col de la Croix is a little-traveled pass that connects the Valais (Villars-sur-Ollon) with Les Diablerets. At the top of the pass there is a small kiosk where you can take good care of yourself during the summer.

There are four possible routes up the Col de la Croix, and the best of them eschews the more direct - and much busier - road through Ollons and instead passes through the quiet vineyards at Bex. Be warned, though: the final section of this pass is the steepest, the road hitting the mid-teens as it crescendos to 1,778m
