Here is the linden tree, which was planted in 2007 in memory of Prof. Winfried Hedergott. Hedergott was Vice President of the Lower Saxony State Parliament, lecturer at the Technical University of Hanover and member of the Lower Saxony State Court. As early as the 1950s, he suggested the creation of the Northeimer Seenplatte with a memorandum and spent his life trying to develop it.
