Hiking
The market women remember the time before the introduction of freedom of trade in 1869, when many Gettorf craftsmen were not authorized to guild and were only allowed to do simple work, for example the shoemaker only work shoes and the tailor only work tools. At that time, large general and livestock markets were held four times a year around the church. The Eckernförder Schneider and the Preetz Schuster were also among the many marketers. Today there are regular weekly markets in the market area.
