A little above the Gimpelhaus, the view is actually getting more beautiful, precisely because you are almost standing between the mountain ranges and still have a 360 degree panoramic view.

The sign with the rockfall here is meant seriously. If you don't have a helmet with you (and on) you should rather choose the lower parallel path. You regularly see panic attacks from hikers when stones really fly from the climbing routes on the Gimpel (which can hardly be avoided).

Behind the Gimpelhaus just follow the signs in the direction of Rote Flüh ... The path does not have a via ferrata 😬👍
