The Aderklaa branch church is located in the middle of the Anger of the Aderklaa municipality in the Gänserndorf district in Lower Austria. The Roman Catholic branch church of the parish church Deutsch-Wagram, consecrated to Our Lady of Sorrows, belongs to the Deanery Gänserndorf in the vicariate Unter dem Manhartsberg of the Archdiocese of Vienna.
At the site of the former village church from 1851, a remarkable modern church was built from 1963 to 1965 according to the plans of the architects Kurt Eckel and Sepp Stein. The branch church was consecrated by Auxiliary Bishop Jakob Weinbacher to commemorate the pain of Mary.
