The Gegenglück Stolln is a former mining facility in Johanngeorgenstadt, the mouth of the tunnel is right next to the Hohneujahrer Poch wash. The Gegenglück Stolln is located in the Lehmergrund and was driven into the Vorderen Fastenberg. The excavation began in 1694 and within a few years had reached 600m. In 1777 mining in the Gegenglück Stolln ended. In 83 years, 133 kg of silver could be mined. The tunnel mouth hole that is preserved today was walled in 1862.

The bridge over the Schwefelbach, shown on the map, no longer exists. There is another bridge about 300 m upstream.

On the Tour des Stoneman it is easy to drive past the former mine too quickly. It is worthwhile to slow down a little.
