Market Square Fountain, Dobbiaco

The small community of Dobbiaco is wonderfully embedded between the mountain peaks of the Dolomites in the South Tyrolean Pustertal. Here you can strengthen yourself in one of the cafés or restaurants on the market square or refresh yourself in the nearby natural bathing lake in Dobbiaco before you tackle one of the surrounding mountain peaks ;)

Town Hall (Old Court House): Broad two-storey building, round arched door, window in grooved stone framing with grid baskets. On the ground floor vaulted rooms, on the upper floor middle room with stucco ceiling, rooms with paneling and simple stucco ceilings. Christophorus fresco, around 1380.
Monument: Gustav Mahler (Austrian composer)

Toblach's market square is quite small but very nicely designed.
