Heart-shaped alpine lake (from certain views), surrounded by other small lakes with wonderful colors: in reality it is not the highest lake of the Orobie, as many think: its 2562m are beaten by the Lago della Cima (lake acconto to the A.E.M.hut) at an altitude of about 2626m
