The pond in Eckenhaid has been leased by the community of Eckental since 1986. For many years it served as a body of water for breeding the club's own stock. Mainly carp were bred here, but also tench, zander, pike and perch alternately every year. The pond in the middle of Eckental has been available to members of the association for fishing since 2017.
