The mark is called Höhbaum.
For me this is a sign of the location of a Celtic Drudtbau.
The current Norway maple may have been planted during the last land consolidation.
When the weather is nice, you can see very far.
So you can see the transmission masts at spoon stilts, the wind turbines at Simmringen etc..

The majority of people walked and used these trees as a guide. There was no writing at the time and no signposts or signs. The Celts made symbols (runes) in the trees, mainly beech trees. This is where the name book comes from.
