The Weldenradweg is nice, but I only recommend it for cycling during the week. Especially on the weekend there is a lot of pedestrians, inline skaters, many families etc. on the way, especially between Neusäß and Aystetten. it’s just pretty crowded. At most we drive a part and only on it on the way home later in the evening. In winter you could even go cross-country skiing earlier when there was still snow. In Corona times, I would only drive the route at times that are not very busy.

In itself, the Weldenbahnstrecke is highly recommended. Currently, however, there are two unmarked major construction sites on the line without detour. The bike path ends there in the middle of nowhere and with the road bike you stand there and can carry. I think that is an outrage of the district.
