Villard-de-Lans

Villard de Lans is a commune on the Vercors plateau. In winter, it is a small-scale ski resort with an excellent collection of cross-country ski trails. During the summer months, these trails become a paradise for mountain bikers. There is a good bus network that connects Grenoble to Villard de Lans, allowing you to easily visit the city and the Vercors massif.

Although the population numbers just over 4,000, it is also the town with the largest amount of lodging available in the entire Vercors Regional Natural Park, which is a ski and winter sport destination in winter, and hiking, mountain biking and hot air ballooning hotspot in the summer months.
