One of the most accessible passes from Grenoble. There are three possible access points: via the Col de Porte road (very busy, you constantly smell diesel...), via the Clémencières road (much quieter, a must), or via the small roads between La Tronche and Correnc, which lead directly to the pass via a final, abominably steep ramp.
