The historic Mönchmühle has stood at its current location in Mühlenbeck since 1234 and is embedded in the picturesque nature reserve "Tegeler Fliess". Thanks to the dedicated work of the association “Historische Mönchmühle e.V.” the old water mill has been restored since 2004 and expanded into a popular excursion destination and museum.
